World Mission Sunday 22nd October

World Mission Sunday is celebrated in every parish throughout the world. It is a great opportunity to express solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Christ who are living in situations of poverty, violence and oppression. Missio, the Holy Father’s charity for overseas mission, helps the churches too poor or too young to support themselves. What you give in the special collection next week will make a difference to people in places like South Sudan. Please help give peace a chance.

On 27/28 October 2017 SPUC is holding a Mass Constituency-based Lobby to oppose decriminalising abortion.

At SPUC we really care about women, which is why we are campaigning against any moves in Parliament to decriminalise abortion. Removing all legal restrictions on abortion will leave women even more vulnerable to the unscrupulous abortion industry at work in our country.
